Get Great Tans All The Time With 26 Bulb Tanning Beds
Posted November 12th, 2009 by brown26 bulb tanning beds are great options for people who are looking for convenience of an all-around tan right in their own home. There are of course many different types of tanning beds to choose from in the market today, with numerous variances with regard to shape, size, and power. Of course the power of a particular tanning bed is dependent on the number of bulbs it contains–and the strength of the bulbs of course–and 26 bulb tanning beds present a good balance of power and energy efficiency. This makes the 26 bulb tanning bed ideally suited for both commercial and home usage.
Almost everyone of us would like to have a great looking tan, although of course not everyone has the time or opportunity to go into a tanning salon where they live. For people who aren’t quite as lucky as those who have a great tanning salon right in their own city, tanning beds are the next best option.
Of course the number of bulbs in your tanning beds isn’t the only consideration when shopping for one. As mentioned earlier, you also have to consider the strength of the bulbs in it. This is typically measured in watts, with most bulbs used in tanning beds measuring 100 watts or 160 watts. All things being equal, a 160 W bulb will give you a deeper tan much quicker than a 100 W bulb will.
Wattage isn’t the only concern either. You’ll also want to find out if your 26 bulb tanning beds have a reflector built into it. Such devices will greatly enhance the tanning power of a bulb. In fact, a 100 W bulb that is fitted with a reflector will give you more tanning power than even a 160 W bulb that doesn’t come with a reflector.
Finally, there is the number of bulbs to consider. Some of the more portable tanning beds on the market may have as few as four bulbs. The tanning beds intended for use in commercial establishments may have as many as 50 bulbs and even more. As you can see, this places 26 bulb tanning beds right in the middle as far as tanning power is concerned. That being said, a 26 bulb tanning bed with 160 W bulbs and suitable reflectors built-in will give you better tan than a 42 bulb tanning bed with a 100 W bulbs and no reflectors.
As you can see, there are quite a few factors to consider when making a choice between the different tanning beds in the market. You would do well to familiarize yourself with the different models available in order to get the best possible value for your money. Do your shopping carefully and compare the different models of tanning beds thoroughly, and you can be sure to get one that is ideally suited for your needs.
